The Ascended Masters' Light is precious beyond price, a treasure to be guarded with all the ability you have. The requirement for attainment is to maintain the Purity of that Light. As long as you can do that, it will wash away your karma. Nothing is as tragic as for a well-meaning student to receive the Masters' Light and then accept so-called Dictations (purportedly from the Masters but actually from the psychic realm) into their world - for the Light in their world flows out, and the Light in the object of their attention flows into their own aura. When you open yourself to psychic substance, you take this substance into your world and commingle it with the Purity of the Light received from your Presence and the Masters. As more astral substance goes into your world, you will look out through the discoloration of that Light. Then your consciousness will not be able to discern what is pure Light and what is psychic. Then real Ascended Master Light will no longer be absorbed, but will wash over you.
